Salami sensation!

Ciao tutti! Come stai?

Every week that passes it just another tastier panino I get to eat!

This time round I went local and thank god a new paninoteca keeps popping up each month!

Nestled in the streets of Essendon/Strathmore you'll find yourself amongst a strip of shops that will take you down the Deli on Lloyd street in Strathmore!

When you walk through the doors you have windows of salamis that you generally find in your Nonno's garage, these guys scream wog!

So I just had to try this Calabrese Panino:

- Salami

- Buffalo Mozzarella

- Rocket

- Capsicum

Let's start with the Ciabatta Bread not so hard, not so soft, just right. Then you get your thin slices of Salami, not to mention the Mozzarella that just oozed into your mouth! To top it off the crunch you get from your Capsicum and Rocket gives you that extra bite only a Calabrese can make!

These guys are as ethnic as you could get, with home made arancini on the shelves, hand made panini that are ready to serve - they have definitely made their mark down in the North-Western suburbs.

Feel free to say ciao to Candice and the family! Drive down to 2A Lloyd Street, Strathmore or visit their Instagram on: @delionlloyd.
